Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, formerly "Blackpool Pleasure Beach", (PBB) is a family owned amusement park in the town of Blackpool in Lancashire, England.
The travel industry has been altered forever in the last few years. No longer is a weekly trip in the summer months to Skegness and Blackpool adequate for a generation bombarded with choice. One demographic clearly taking full advantage of the definite shift in attitudes is the over-55s.
A new Guinness World Record was set yesterday, June 10th, for the longest MINI convoy. 273 vehicles drove a 5 mile route to beat the previous record set in Blackpool, England. The event was staged in Virginia Beach, Virginia with all proceeds benefiting the Navy Seals Memorial Fund.
